Hotel Isla Canela Golf is located just 2 miles from the beautiful beaches of Isla Canela and Punta del Moral, both of them part of Costa de la Luz, a coastline with over 4 miles of golden beaches where you can practice all kinds of water sports, such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling, paddleboarding…


Activities
With an average annual temperature of 20ºC (68ºF), Isla Canela enjoys a fantastic climate which favours outdoor activities. There are many activities to enjoy around the hotel, from a boat excursion along the Guadiana river to discovering the Isla Cristina Marshes Natural Park and admiring its diversity, as well as visiting the Isla Canela marina (the last Spanish port before arriving in Portugal) and all of its luxurious shops and restaurants.
The Algarve
On the other side of the Guadiana river, just 5 miles away, is Portugal’s largest tourist region: the Algarve. Hotel Isla Canela is an excellent starting point to discover Spain’s neighbouring country and visit its stunning beaches and picturesque fishing villages.

If you like nature and have time on your hands, we recommend that you visit the Natural Area of the Río Piedras Marshes and Flecha del Rompido (22 miles) and the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park (83 miles). If you prefer an urban day trip, don’t miss Huelva, the province’s capital (30 miles) and Seville (93 miles), two Andalusian cities of great beauty with a rich historical and cultural heritage.
